This bird was seen today Upper Lise just to the right of the red gate.

It would sit on a branch for a very short time then quickly plop into the water to catch an insect then back up

I left thinking it would be one of the tough flycatchers as we didn't hear it vocalise.

I took at look at eBird and both Least Flycatchers and Great-crested Flycatchers have recently been seen there.

I'm afraid the answer is - it is neither of these

To me, it looks like it has neither an eye ring or wing bars.

Please tell me what this bird is - thanks
